iota Outdoors announced today the issuance of patent number 10,048,040 B1 for Triad Picatinny scope mounts by the US Patent Office.

The focus of the patent is the three-key adjustment system on the Triad and Triad ZL picatinny scope mounting systems. Designed to negate the tolerances allowed in picatinny rails’ machining specifications, every set of Triads come with 3 sets of interchangeable key inserts for mounting the scope rings to a picatinny rail within three different tolerances: +.0035, nominal, and -.0035.

Triad picatinny scope mounts are available with or without iota’s patented ZeroLight Technology. Both are available in 30mm Medium and High as well as 34mm Low and High heights.
