FMG Welcomes Digital Content & Marketing Director

FMG Publications announces Ashley McGee joined its team as the digital content and marketing director. McGee is responsible for managing the growth of FMG’s overall digital presence, including its websites, e-newsletters, social media and the GUNS Magazine Podcast. Additionally, she will continue contributing to Shooting Industry and work to develop strategies for increasing dealer engagement.

“Ashley’s wealth of industry knowledge and marketing skills will have an immediate impact on our branding efforts,” shared Randy Molde, FMG Publications’ VP of business development. “She’s helped storefront dealers develop effective marketing messages for years through Shooting Industry. We can’t wait to see how her efforts engage our current audiences and open doors to new market segments. We’re thrilled to have her join the FMG team.”

McGee has contributed to Shooting Industry since 2017. She has more than 10 years of experience editing, advertising, marketing and communications and public relations in both corporate marketing and agency settings. Most recently, she served as niche managing editor for The Post and Courier — the South’s oldest daily newspaper.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications.

“I’ve learned a lot from talking with Shooting Industry readers and interviewing industry professionals over the years,” said McGee. “I’m excited to draw from the experience and combine it with my background in digital marketing to help continue to grow all of FMG’s publications.”
