Lake Guntersville State Park is seeking parties interested in providing goods or services to park guests under a concession agreement. These contracts cannot gross over $100,000 annually. The term of the agreement will be one year with a right by DCNR/State Parks, at its sole discretion, to renew said agreement for the following year with a letter to the concessionaire.

The successful vendor will be required to provide a turn-key automated rental solution which would allow park guests to book and fulfill rentals without the need of vendor or park staff to operate or attend to it except for routine safety and maintenance checks.

RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT RENTALS- Vendor’s solution will provide rental of items such as paddleboats, canoes, kayaks, or other related non-motorized recreational water craft. Additional items including, but not limited to, paddles and personal flotation devices (PFDs) must also be provided. Vendor will be required to pay a percentage of their gross revenue. One (1) vendor will be selected based upon the proposal which will pay DCNR/State Parks the highest percentage.

PROPOSALS FOR OTHER CONCESSION GOODS OR SERVICES will be considered.

INTERESTED PARTIES MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION NO LATER THAN MAY 24TH, 2019: - The legal/corporate name of the company (n/a if operating as a sole proprietor) - The "doing business as (d/b/a)" name if corporate and different from the above - Name, mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number(s) of owner - Description of products and/or services - Percentage of gross revenue to be paid to park - Proposed beginning date of agreement

Successful vendor(s) will be required to enter into a concession agreement (contract) with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, State Parks Division after being informed of selection. Concessionaires must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations (including county health regulations if applicable) and must provide documentation of approvals and licenses. Concessionaires must also present proof of liability insurance, specifically naming DCNR as an insured, for an amount no less than $100,000.
