Louisville, KY – The Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s King Kat Tournament Trail is proud to announce that it has been selected from a list of 40,000 tournaments in the Americas for the prestigious award of BEST CATCH 2020!

Best Catch 2020 is the creation of Captain Robert ‘Fly’ Navarro and Fly Zone Fishing. Navarro is known as an angler with a passion to share the sport of fishing with as many people as possible.

Fly’s huge personality and respect for the sport have built him a social media empire that has evolved into Fly’s creation of this epic award. The King Kat Trail is honored to be one of only 60 tournament trails included in the yearbook that commemorates this award.

In receiving this award, King Kat has been honored for their sportsmanship, community impact, and pursuit of excellence in the fishing tournament industry.

Sixty BEST CATCH 2020 winners have been captured in an heirloom coffee table yearbook that celebrates the most iconic fishing tournaments in the Americas. The book explores the unique culture of each tournament, spotlights faces and places in fishing, and celebrates the 2020 tournament victors.
