FARMINGDALE, NEW YORK - Bruce Piatt, SunBuster's Professional Shooter, returned to Columbia, Missouri to participate in the 30th Anniversary of the NRA Bianchi Cup. Bruce won his fourth National Bianchi Cup Open/Metallic Aggregate Championship, which consists of shooting the entire event twice. Once with an iron sighted 1911 standard pistol and again with a highly customized scoped 1911 pistol, Piatt also took 2nd overall and becomes the only person do ever achieve the Aggregate Championship title four times.
Piatt commented, "Wearing my SunBuster® clear lenses during the entire match was necessary as the weather lent itself to rainy conditions and overcast skies, so clarity was paramount to me." Additionally, Bruce said, "I was excited in knowing both the NRA President, John Sigler and founder of the Bianchi Cup, John Bianchi were in attendance at this year's event."
