Indiana: Fishing triathlon at Eagle Creek Park, Sept. 14

Aspiring anglers, their friends, and family are invited to attend a fishing triathlon at Eagle Creek Park on Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Anglers will have the opportunity to fish with three different styles of fishing poles and three different types of bait at Eagle Creek’s Lilly Lake. DNR staff and volunteers will be there to assist.

All ages are welcome. To participate, ages 18 and older must have a fishing license, which must be purchased in advance online at on.IN.gov/inhuntfish or at a local retailer. All bait and fishing equipment will be provided. This event is free, but the park entrance fee will be enforced.

Advance registration is not required but encouraged. Register at https://bit.ly/30PciQc. Participants can arrive at any time and stay as long as they like.

Eagle Creek Park is at 7840 W. 56th St. in Indianapolis.
