Winchester’s Sponsorship for ATA Continues

SPARTA (IL) - The Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) would like to thank Winchester

Ammunition for another great year of sponsorship of the US Open, Grand American, & AIM Grand Championships! Winchester has been a sponsor of these events for decades, as well as a staple ammunition provider at the events with their iconic “AA” and “Super-Target” shotshells.

The US Open will take place May 29 – June 2, 2019 at the World shooting & Recreational Complex (WSRC) in Sparta, IL. Winchester graciously sponsors Event 10, the US Open Singles Championship held Saturday, June 1. This event also hosts over 200 youth shooters from the Southern Illinois Youth Sport Shooting Association (SIYSSA), a program dedicated to promoting trapshooting and other shooting activities for the youth of Southern Illinois.

The 2019 Grand American World Trapshooting Championships will be July 31 - August 10, 2019 at the WSRC. Winchester proudly sponsors Event 15, the Winchester AA Class Singles event on Monday, August 5. They also sponsor the Winchester Super 500 Singles, which is a competition spanning all Singles events of preliminary week (July 31 - August 4, 2019).

Winchester is also a Title Sponsor of the ATA’s “AIM” National Youth program and the 2019 AIM National Youth Trapshooting Championships, which will be held July 26-30, 2019 at the WSRC in Sparta, IL. In addition to their Title Sponsorship, Winchester also sponsors Event 4, the AIM Grand National Youth Handicap Championship, as well as a Pizza Party for all participants on Monday, July 29.
