The match will continue to have MORE ZOMBIES, so participants can expect a fun shooting event that promises to be memorable for everyone from beginner to expert.

Early registration for past competitors opened on Feb. 18. Returning competitors have received an email with a registration link and more information. General registration opens at 7 p.m. CDT Feb. 26. A sponsor reception will be on May 28 at Riverside Golf Club.

In its ninth year, this popular match will feature 10 competitive stages and five side-match stages. Shooters will find new and reactive targets developed specifically for this match, with most targets breaking, falling over or moving. Participants will be required to compete with a pistol, rifle and shotgun, or they can compete with pistol-caliber carbine and shotgun in the PCC Division.

With an unusual, challenging course of fire, Zombies in the Heartland typically attracts shooters from across the country and some traveling from outside the United States. With an annual attendance of more than 400 shooters, the event has been sold out each year, so prompt registration is encouraged.
