Team Hornady Shooter Jessie Harrison Claims Steel Master Title

(Grand Island, Nebr.) — Hornady® congratulates Jessie Harrison on her performance at the 2022 Steel Challenge World Championship, April 30 – May 1, 2022, in Talladega, Alabama.

Harrison won the coveted Steel Master title, which is awarded to the shooter with the best aggregate score for two centerfire and one rimfire divisions. She also placed High Overall Lady, 3rd Overall Open, 2nd Overall Single Stack and set a new ladies world record single stack time using Hornady® 9mm 115 gr. HAP® bullets.

“Hornady has been one of my longest standing sponsors in my career, their support means more than I could ever express.” said Harrison. “Along with that, the consistency and excellence of their product has allowed me to be confident in my ammunition through the years. I hope they share the excitement of this career milestone, as they have been a contributing factor to my success!” Harrison added.

Modeled after the legendary XTP® bullet design, HAP bullets are further refined into the perfect competition projectile. While XTP bullets use serrations to aid in controlled expansion and terminal performance, HAP bullets feature a sleek and balanced projectile with a protected nose that aids in consistent and reliable feeding in auto loading pistols.

Bullet jackets, featuring industry leading concentricity combined with precision swaged cores, deliver the very best in accuracy and performance.
