Hornady Precision Rifle Challenge 2019

Grand Island, NE. - One of the most anticipated matches of the 2019 Pro Series Season wrapped up this past weekend as 120 shooters traveled from all over the nation to shoot the Hornady® Precision Rifle Challenge PRS match, July 12-14 in Utah.

Daniel Bertocchini took first place against some of the nation’s fiercest competitors using Hornady 7mm 180gr. ELD® Match bullets. Clay Blackketter shot an impressive match and placed second overall using Hornady 6mm 110gr. A-Tip™ Match bullets. Shannon Kay took placed third, Nick Gadarzi took fourth and Bradley Allen in fifth.

Hornady sponsored shooter, Doug Koenig placed first in the production class using Hornady 6mm Creedmoor 108gr. ELD® Match™ ammunition.

Co-match directors, George Gardner and Bryan Sikes put together a challenging match that had competitors calling wind and shooting in field conditions from a variety of positions out to 1,730 yards.

Hornady was the title sponsor of the Hornady Precision Rifle Challenge and is an Affiliate Sponsor of the 2019 Precision Rifle Series season. Hornady will also provide products for PRS Pro Series prize tables and will sponsor the 2019 PRS Finale on Nov. 15-17, 2019.
