EDGEFIELD, S.C. — The National Wild Turkey Federation and leading suppressor dealer Silencer Central are renewing their partnership in support of NWTF’s mission to conserve the wild turkey and preserve North America’s hunting heritage.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with Silencer Central,” said Natalia Daniels, NWTF national director of corporate relations and licensing. “They are not only a leader in offering shooting sports enthusiasts a seamless way to purchase a suppressor, but they are staunch supporters of the NWTF’s mission and believe in our work to conserve the wild turkey and preserve our hunting heritage.”

Over 15 years ago, Silencer Central was founded to offer customers a simplified process for safely and legally obtaining firearm sound suppressors. The company is solely dedicated to Class 3 firearms in the form of suppressors.
Silencer Central has grown to become one of the largest Class 3 dealers. Silencer Central prioritizes its customers by obtaining inventory quickly and expediting communication and approvals from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

In addition to their financial contributions to the NWTF mission, Silencer Central will be a Gobbler Level sponsor of the NWTF’s 2023 National Convention and Sport Show, as well as sponsoring many of the NWTF’s media outlets, such as Tukey Call magazine and Turkey Call All Access Podcast.

“We are thrilled to partner with the National Wild Turkey Federation,” said Brandon Maddox, CEO of Silencer Central. “We understand the mission of the NWTF and its dedication to the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage. It’s important to support organizations like the NWTF to help them reach their conservation and organization goals, and it also provides us with the opportunity to present our suppressors to their members. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with the NWTF for years to come.”

About the National Wild Turkey Federation

When the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in 1973, there were about 1.3 million wild turkeys in North America. After decades of work, that number hit a historic high of almost 7 million turkeys. To succeed, the NWTF stood behind science-based conservation and hunters' rights. Today, the NWTF is focused on the future of hunting and conservation through its Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative. Since 2012, this 10-year initiative has already eclipsed goals of conserving or enhancing more than 4 million acres of essential wildlife habitat, recruiting or retaining more than 1.5 million hunters and opening access to more than 500,000 acres for hunting and other recreation opportunities. This critical work will continue to impact wildlife habitat and our great outdoors in the final year of the initiative.
