Sports Afield’s Jan/Feb 2019 Issue Hits Newsstands

If you dream of hunting around the world, you’ll find plenty of inspiration in the latest edition of Sports Afield magazine, the January/February 2019 issue, which features stories about high-adventure hunts on five continents. From Montana to Mongolia, Argentina to Africa, Scotland to Spain, these tales transport readers to places where the greatest game animals of the world roam. Read about the challenges of hunting the biggest wild sheep in the world, thrill to the roar of red stags on the Scottish moors, and follow along on an adrenaline-filled hunt for buffalo in the swamps of Mozambique--all in this issue, which will be available on newsstands nationwide starting this week.

“Experiencing new landscapes, helping conserve game populations, and forming connections with other hunters are some of the reasons hunters love to travel and explore,” said Diana Rupp, Sports Afield Editor in Chief. “Our writers have had their boots on the ground in some beautiful regions and have incredible stories to tell about thrilling encounters with the world’s most magnificent game species.”

Sports Afield, founded in 1887, is the oldest outdoor magazine in North America and today is America’s premier hunting adventure magazine, with a focus on exciting hunting stories, fine firearms, and the pursuit of big game around the world.
