The NAWTC Announces Registration For Canada

Hamilton, GA - The 2019 North American Whitetail Championship begins this fall. Initially, only 14 regions were included in the contest however, The North American Whitetail Championship is excited to announce that they will be opening up registration to Canada.

The NAWTC begins with archery-only qualifying regions starting September 1, 2019 until January 31, 2020. Hunters must abide by the laws of their competing state and are required to film their hunts using a Tactacam supplied by The NAWTC, and submit them to the website within 24 hours of the harvest to qualify. The hunter to harvest the largest Pope & Young buck in their region will win that region, and qualify for the Championship.

Along with those winners, other hunters entered will have additional chances to qualify for the Championship and other drawings. Those that qualify for the Championship will receive prize packages. The Championship will be a 5-day guided muzzleloader deer hunt at Wicked Outfitters in Fall 2020, with lodging, food, beverages, and a personal guide included. During the Championship, hunters will randomly draw for three wind-dependent stand locations which designates their hunting area for all five days.

The largest Boone & Crockett scored buck at the Championship will be crowned The Bone Collector North American Whitetail Champion for 2020 and win the Grand Prize of $50,000 and a World Champion Bow. The second largest Boone & Crockett scored buck receives a prize of $20,000, and the third receives a prize of $5,000.
