Koenig scored a 1918 x 184 to win the Crawfish Cup Regional Action Pistol Championship and a 1918 x 177 for the Louisiana state Action Pistol Championship. The Crawfish Cup Regional and Louisiana State Championship were hosted by the Southwest Louisiana Rifle and Pistol Club in Lake Charles, Louisiana, April 20th and 21st. Each of the participants competed in the falling plates, moving target, barricade, and practical events.
