Following Up On A Story

May 9, 2025

As a follow up on SCCY Firearms… their website may still be up and active, but the company is defunct. We’ve gotten word that SCCY’s assets, described as “3 complete CNC machining facilities” in Daytona Beach, Florida, will be auctioned June 24-26, 2025 beginning at 11:00 ET in Daytona Beach. In addition to more than 90 precision machines, the auction will include an “incredible amount of Raw material, WIP, Inventory, Office and More!”

The auction announcement from Prestige Auctions doesn’t name SCCY, but the assets being auctioned are the last vestiges of the company. Screenshot from prestigeequipment.com

This should end any debate as to the fate of the company whose owner complained that our reporting of his business difficulties were erroneous. As we’ve written before (here, here, and here), the reports might have been slightly premature but they were far from wrong.

The machines sit idle right now, but creditors have apparently decided to sell them in an attempt to recoup some of their money. Screenshot from prestigeequipment.com

Interest parties have the opportunity to bid and buy everything from fixtures, cabinets and assorted raw material to 90+ “late model CNC machines” along with injection molding, QC machines, bench top 3D printers, laser markers and all the assorted “stuff” that makes pistol production possible.

If you’re interested, the assets are available “on a turnkey basis- in bulk or partial.” Inspections are by appointment. You can follow this link for more information.
