Ohio: Grand River Shooting Range Orientation

BRISTOLVILLE, OH – Are you looking for a place to safely shoot your firearms? A visit to a public shooting range is worth considering, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.

If you have never visited an ODNR public shooting range due to unfamiliarity with how to use the range, an orientation class might be just what you need. Join Division of Wildlife staff on Tuesday, April 2 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to discuss range operations, rules, and general range etiquette at Grand River Wildlife Area shooting range. These topics will be covered in a casual atmosphere on range grounds during closed hours. Firearms will be provided for all demonstrations.

Grand River Shooting Range is located at 6693 Hoffman-Norton Road, Bristolville, OH 44491.

There is no fee for the class, but pre-registration is required as spaces are limited. Call Ken Fry at (330) 245-3030. The class will take place outdoors so please dress appropriately.

The Division of Wildlife shooting ranges provide the public with comfortable, safe places to shoot archery or firearms. A complete list of range facilities can be found at wildohio.gov.

The mission of the Division of Wildlife is to conserve and improve fish and wildlife resources and their habitats for sustainable use and appreciation by all. Visit wildohio.gov to find out more.
