Please join thousands of law enforcement officers, boating safety advocates, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) in this year's nationwide boating under the influence (BUI) campaign, Operation Dry Water.
The Operation Dry Water heightened awareness and enforcement weekend will take place on July 5 - 7, 2019.
During this three-day weekend following the 4th of July holiday, law enforcement officers will be on heightened alert for those violating boating under the influence laws.
According to the U.S. Coast Guard Recreational Boating Statistics 2017, alcohol use continues to be the leading known contributing factor in fatal boating accidents. This is why we need your help in educating boaters and removing impaired operators from our nation's waterways.
