A temporary closure for Crystal Cross Fishing Access Site on the upper Yellowstone River has been lifted.

The site was closed as a precautionary public safety measure due to increased grizzly bear activity, which has since decreased. FWP has determined that site is safe for public recreation again.

This area remains within occupied grizzly bear habitat. Visitors should continue to take precautions and be prepared for unexpected encounters with bears.
