FWC honors supporters and employees

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) opened its two-day meeting in Tallahassee Wednesday by recognizing supporters and employees.

Lt. Col. Don Holway served 32 years in the FWC’s Division of Law Enforcement before he retired recently, and Tommy Hines worked as a scientist for the agency for 22 years. Hines also retired recently.

Commissioners recognized the two retirees and the FWC’s Permitting Team for their contributions to the agency’s mission.

Also, Commissioners recognized the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society and ESPN for their support of the Florida Bass Conservation Center and recognized photo artist David Moynahan for capturing, with his camera, and sharing the mesmerizing beauty of Florida and its wildlife for Floridians and visitors.
