Spring Mill State Park is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt March 23 at 2 p.m. Bring your children, ages 4 to 12, to Sycamore Field and join in the fun and excitement of scrambling through the grass searching for goody-filled eggs.
Areas will be roped off for four age groups: 4 and under, 5-7, 8-9, and 11-12. Assistant Property Manager Jon Winne notes, “It is a lot of fun to watch the kids scramble for the eggs, but it’s over really quickly.
Before the Easter Egg Hunt, stop by Spring Mill Inn from 12 to 1:30p.m. with your camera and take a picture of your children with the Easter Bunny.
Following the Easter Egg Hunt, join the naturalist at the Nature Center at 3 p.m. for a walk along the edge of the lake to look for signs that warmer weather is on the way.
Admission to the park is free March 23.
