2018 Southern Regional Junior Clay Target Championships

Eligibility:      
Event is open to any and all teams and or individuals in 3rd - 12th grade, belonging to any and all youth organizations which have a competitive shooting program in the following states: AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, & TN.  No memberships are required.    
Jeff McClure, Eastern Program Manager for the MidwayUSA Foundation will be on site to answer any question about the FREE team endowment accounts and or help get one implemented.
 
FFA, 4-H, SCTP, AIM, Scout, Club, and High School individuals and teams are all welcome
 
 
When:      
April 13-15, 2018

Friday April 13, 2018:   

Sign-in and Practice.   

·Sign-in 10:00am – 4:00pm  

·Safety Meeting at 10:15 – 10:30am  

·Fields will be open from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm for practice.  

·Golf carts rentals and practice payments will be handled through complex cashier.   

 

Saturday April 14, 2018:   

·Opening Ceremony 8:45am – 9:00am  

·American Skeet (100 targets), Sporting Clays (100 targets), 5-Stand (25 targets) Clay Delay Challenge. 

·Skeet, Sporting Clays. Shoot-Offs & Awards    

Sunday April 15, 2018:   

·American Trap (100 targets).   

·5-Stand (25 targets)  

·Clay Delay Challenge. 

·Clay Delay Finals 

·Shoot-offs and Awards  

·HAA Shoot-offs and HAA Awards     

Athletes may shoot one or all events. In order to qualify for the HAA awards, athletes must have shot all four events; Skeet, Sporting Clays, Trap & 5-Stand.

Registration Fees:   
High-All-Around includes: Skeet, Sporting Clay, Trap & 5-Stand.    
American Skeet/Trap $45 each, Sporting $70 & 5-Stand $15. Non-Members add $10 per event.      
How to Register:     
To register, please go to; www.usayess.org and ‘EVENTS’ tab and click on ‘register here’, then scroll down to event. Once in i! Clays, you will need to drag names…iPads won’t work.    
USAYESS Handbook may be down loaded at www.usayess.org. It is the contestant’s and coaches responsibility to be familiar with the NGB and USAYESS policies.

Practice:     
Practice will be available every day and will be handled through the complex cashiers. Please call complex for office hours and costs.    
Ammunition:     
Ammo will be available at the facility. Please contact complex for costs and or to reserve/prepay for ammo.    
    
Golf Carts:      
Carts will be handled directly through Jerry’s Golf Carts and Service on a first-come, first-served bases at $90 per day for a 2-Seater and $124 per day for a 4-Seater.   Must be reserved prior to event.

USAYESS Registration is through iClays (https://www.iclays.com/cgi-bin/usayess/build_team.cgi?tournament_id=6377) and has two methods of payment.    
  
Method 1: After the head coach register his or her athletes, they can send the URL of the ‘Pay’ page to the parents. The parents may click their athlete’s ‘Pay’ box and make payment.  
  
Method 2: Coaches may click on athlete’s ‘Pay’ box for the athletes they will be paying for and make payment. The coach will need to make each payment separately, but will not be taken out of the program. The program will automatically repopulate you info unless you exit the system.
