Indiana Bike Trails Task Force to meet March 21

The Indiana Bike Trails Task Force will convene on March 21 at 10 a.m. at the Indiana State Library.

The library is at 315 W. Ohio St., Indianapolis. The meeting will take place in the Author's Room.

The Indiana Bike Trails Task Force was established by the Indiana General Assembly in 2017 to develop plans to connect existing bike trails and to estimate the cost.

By July 1, 2019, the task force will present at least six ways to fund connections to existing bicycle trails and will prepare a timeline that shows phases of completion. The report also will include recommended changes to Indiana law to increase bicycle safety on trails and roadways.
