Wiley Steps Down as NSSF CEO
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The Board of Governors of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc. announced today that Hugh Wiley is resigning as its Chief Operating Officer. He served in this position throughout 2017.
"Hugh brought many new ways of thinking and unique business skills to the NSSF, and he has made a number of valuable contributions to our operational efficiencies and outreach programs," said Stephen L. Sanetti, NSSF President and Chief Executive Officer. "We sincerely wish him well in all his future endeavors."
The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade association for the firearms industry. Its mission is to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, NSSF has a membership of more than 12,000 manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen’s organizations and publishers.
