Nashville, TN. -- Athlon Outdoors modernizes its tactical lineup of titles and aligns annual titles under the Tactical Life brand to create a multi-channel network targeted at the tactical firearms audience. Tactical Weapons magazine in 2018 will be renamed Tactical Life to align with the digital companion, Tactical-Life.com. The annual publications Black Guns and Gun Annual have been rebranded to include the Tactical Life branding, renamed Tactical Life Black Guns and Tactical Life Gun Annual. In addition, the new title Tactical Life Stealth is scheduled to hit newsstands November 6, 2018.
The premier annual edition of Stealth magazine is a 128-page blend of lifestyle, cool, covert and cutting-edge technology for the firearms enthusiast. Stealth is much more than simply gun suppressors, it’s an eclectic mix of military and civilian gadgetry that tend to be mysterious and subject to misinformation in the public’s view. Our stable of expert content creators are ready to deliver by pulling back the curtain of the covert ops world!
Tools featured in Stealth are high-tech, expensive and require a learning curve to deploy them safely and effectively. Some Stealth tools covered in the premier issue are so new that they are not even available to the public yet. Stealth readers will soak up the five main areas of coverage: night vision, suppressors, weapons systems, essential accessories, and tools applications.
Another newer title within the group is Magnum: Best of Athlon Outdoors, with the first edition of this title hitting newsstands December 26, 2017. The 2019 edition of Magnum: Best of Athlon Outdoors is scheduled for November 27, 2018.
The Athlon Outdoors MAGNUM Issue combines the very best print content of the past year. Bringing together leading magazines Ballistic, Tactical Weapons, Combat Handguns, Survivor’s Edge, Concealed Carry Handguns and Personal & Home Defense, this 168-page “Best of” is packed with compelling stories, gear reviews and photography from the most well-respected writers, photographers and editors in the shooting industry. Also, getting a new look and upgrade is the Tactical-Life.com website. This newly redesigned website still holds the largest collection of digital tactical content, but now it has been optimized to a mobile-first design and improved user experience. Content loading has been updated to a scroll functionality with more desirable in-content ad placements throughout. The right rail has been eliminated for a full-width editorial experience on the homepage and all category landing pages. New native video ad placements are also available along with premium category sponsorships.
In addition, the website Tactical-Life.com offers its community an e-newsletter for users to stay abreast of the latest tactical content to hit the site and access to dozens of sweepstakes, giveaways and special promotions available through advertising and editorial partners.
