DENVER — Outdoor Edge, the company that combines functional design with the finest materials and hand craftsmanship to create quality knives and tools, is currently seeking an international sales manager. The position will be located at the company headquarters in Denver and will report directly to the vice president of sales and marketing.
In this position, the individual will be responsible for generating and increasing the sales of the Outdoor Edge products in countries outside of the USA. Additionally, this individual will have the responsibility for generating new leads and closing new business, creating sales and marketing materials, forecasting sales, negotiating pricing and terms for new customers, manage all logistics from order entry to shipping and delivery and travel domestically and internationally 75-100 days per year for product line reviews and trade shows.

- 5+ years of experience in sales required. Outdoor industry sales experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in marketing or another business-related field preferred.
- Ability to communicate persuasively over the phone, in writing, and in person.
- Ability to travel up to 100 days per year and occasionally travel over the weekends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to learn CRM’s and programs quickly. Experience with SAP Business One is a plus.
- Able to lift 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift or move up to 70 pounds.
- Applicants must complete a drug test and background check prior to being hired.
