Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls adds new dimension with the rattle Cage™

Kamiah, ID – Many seasoned elk hunters have figured out that rattling two elk antlers together is a great tactic to bring in bulls during the rut. The problem is hauling those big antlers through the timber, when chasing the elusive wapiti…until now. The Rattle Cage™ is going to change the way elk hunters bring in the big boys.

The Rattle Cage™ was designed as a compact rattling device to mimic the sound of two bull elk fighting. The call is made of wood that produces the sound of elk antlers when the “rattle rod” is moved up and down across a series of bumps in the chamber of the call. Many hunters will use the Rattle Cage™ from the ground, using both hands to control the volume and aggressiveness of the call. The Rattle Cage™ does have the unique feature that allows it to be used from a treestand with the enclosed rope. Simply lower the call to the ground with the rope and bounce the call off of the grass in a sequence that mimics elk fighting. This allows you to keep the elk focused on the ground, not you in the treestand.
