Firearms Manufacturer Seeks Director of National Accounts

Business is booming and our client is looking to add another key player to their team. We are seeking an outstanding sales executive to take on this unique, high visibility and high impact role with a globally recognized firearms manufacturer.

This company has launched an exciting expansion plan, and this key role calls for a high-caliber, proven sales leader with related firearms sales experience who can implement and lead their strategic sales objectives effectively.  The Director will have responsibility for driving the company’s growth agenda and achieving exceptional customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies within Big Box, national retail accounts.

  • Achieve budgeted sales and growth goals within existing customer base and determine new opportunities for growth and new customers.

  • Develop customer relationships to create relevant consumer insights, competitive responses, and new item/category selling modules.

  • Provide input to Product Management leadership to improve product positioning and address competitive issues.

  • Create sales programs to support national accounts

  • Collaborate with production team to ensure timely delivery of customer product

  • Recommend and develop promotional opportunities based on sales trends

  • Analyze competitive market activity to provide direction and insight.

  • Support Demand forecast analysis and capacity utilization.

  • Oversee and direct the activities of sales staff; manage sales staff activities, set and monitor goals, assist with priority setting, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Represent the company with the highest level of professionalism in all regards from performance to presentation materials

  • MSR experience is a plus

  • Flexibility to work from home.

Qualifications:

BA/BS preferred along with strong experience in the firearms industry. Experience selling firearms to retailers, dealers or buying groups is key. The right candidate will have a track record of progressive achievement, strong presentation capability and a persuasive, charismatic communication style. Please be dependable, tenacious, direct, outgoing, with an impeccable work ethic. Passion for the industry is required.
