Phoenix, AZ – McMillan® Fiberglass Stocks, recognized as the leader in precision-manufactured rifle stocks, has recently expanded its F-Class stock lineup with the introduction of the new Kestros model. The Kestros stock is built on the same design platform as the standard-production McMillan F-Class stock and is ideally suited for F-Open competition.

Fundamental to Kestros' performance is its unique foreend design. With weight limitations being less stringent for F-Open setups, the Kestros foreend is filled in (not channeled, as is the case with standard McMillan F-Class stocks) to increase density and overall stiffness. This low-profile, wide foreend design also helps reduce the center of gravity for improved stability and torque reduction. Additionally, the bottom of the foreend is perfectly parallel with the bottom of the butt stock. This parallel plane prevents rise or lateral shifts of the rifle upon recoil. As for ergonomics, both sides of the palm swell and the integral adjustable cheek piece are identically profiled for an ambidextrous fit, although true right- or left-hand cheek pieces are available.

As with all McMillan's F-Class stocks, the Kestros is offered in three basic factory configurations: Flat Top (no inlet), Basic Inlet (action outline and barrel channel), and Full Inlet (action and barrel inlet plus molded-in color). Additionally, multiple accessory options, such as fixed or adjustable butt plates, adjustable cheek pieces, pre-installed pillars, and rail and sling accessories, can be added.
