MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – February 6, 2018 – Viridian Weapon Technologies announced that it will release a new generation of X Series weapon-mounted accessories, including the X5L® Gen 3 Green Laser Sight, X5L-R® Gen 3 Red Laser Sight and XTL Gen 3 Taclight. The new models will be shipped to retailers across the country early this year.

The X Series Gen 3 accessories feature the brightest lasers, breakthrough momentary activation technology, brilliant taclights and proprietary INSTANT-ON® activation. Gen 3 models also include a removable, rechargeable battery that eliminates the need to ever buy batteries again. On-board charging with indicator lights allows users to know the exact battery power status in real time.

The new X5L, X5L-R and XTL boast sleeker bodies that fit in all holsters designed for the Streamlight® TLR1®. A tool-less quick-detach mount, output of 500 lumens of light and multiple modes of operation add to the list of features. Available in black and flat dark earth, these new offerings fit most full-size handguns and include an industry-best seven-year limited warranty.
