Powerboat Registrations up 4.7 Percent in October

NMMA's New Powerboat Registrations Report has been updated through October 2017, and advance data show new powerboat registrations were up 4.7 percent year-over-year (YOY) for the rolling twelve-month (R12M) period through October.

Highlights from the report include:

Nearly all segments were up through October (R12M YOY). Growth in registrations was led by the following segments: cruisers (up 9.7 percent), pontoons (up 7.4 percent), tow boats (up 6.7 percent) and personal watercraft (up 5.6 percent).
Outboard boats were up 4.9 percent in registrations.
Larger boats 27' and greater, were up 7.7 percent through October (R12M YOY).
