The Mastodon, available in the new Mossy Oak® Mountain Country pattern, comes in at over 4000 cubic inches of capacity and includes an adjustable harness which fits torso lengths from 15-22 inches. Numerous additional mountain-specific features to highlight include a meat shelf for packing out, a full-length fleece-lined scope pocket, a side hip rifle boot caddy, and a front shove pocket made to quickly and easily store outer layers helping to regulate body temperature when on the move.
The Mastodon also features Mossy Oak's® new, innovative Modular Sling Retention System, which adds a magnetic mechanical lock to the shoulder harness that keeps the gun sling where it belongs at the top of the shoulder, and the option to move the gun stock storage boot to the hip belt, allowing the hunter to transfer the weight of the gun to the bag instead of holding on to it.
