MidwayUSA Foundation Distributes Matching Dollars

Columbia, MO- Through their matching program, funded by Larry and Brenda Potterfield, the MidwayUSA Foundation has added $641,530 to 222 youth shooting team endowments and 7 agency endowments. The majority of this donation stems from the 2:1 Matching Program, which concludes in 2017.

"With each month, more teams are taking advantage of our 2:1 match and we think that will continue through November and December, especially with #GivingTuesday right around the corner, " said Randy Moeller; MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director.

The 2:1 Matching Program triples a donor's contribution to their favorite shooting team. Through the MidwayUSA Foundation website (midwayusafoundation.org/donate) donors can choose the team that will benefit from their contribution. Donations are tax deductible and 100% of the donation, as well as the match, benefits that team. The Foundation keeps zero for operating expenses. Following the donation, the 2:1 match for all donations made in a given month are distributed.

The MidwayUSA Foundation is a 501(c) (3) public charity working to sustain the shooting sports industry by providing long-term funding to youth shooting teams. Every donation made is 100% tax deductible and supports the mission to help communities and organizations raise funds to support their youth shooting team. The Foundation supports all shooting disciplines.
