Simms Releases Spring 2018 Product Line

Simms Most Anticipated Product Offering Available Now

Bozeman, MT – With new gear spanning across multiple categories, Simms Fishing Products releases its Spring 2018 product line, a collection packed with innovation, technology and imagination, all built to keep anglers on the water longer.

Decorated with 5 Best in Category Awards at this Summer's ICAST and IFTD Shows, the long-awaited Spring 2018 line leads with a complete redesign of the popular G3 Guide™ Collection, Dry Creek® Z waterproof packs, brand new styles of on-deck footwear, all-new sun protection clothing, and an overhaul of the company's women's collection.

Spring 18 is led by an entirely new lineup of G3 Guide™ Stockingfoot waders for men and women and a G3 Guide™ Pant wader. All waders in the new G3 Guide™ collection have been re-engineered to offer a greatly improved fit and next level breathability thanks to a new GORE-TEX® 4-layer fabric in the legs.

Enhancements in the G3 Guide™ Collection can also be found in Simms' longstanding wading workhorse, the G3 Guide™ Boot. Available with either Vibram® or felt outsoles, the new G3 Guide™ Boot takes on a fresh new look and is accompanied by a significantly improved fit, and a completely new and unique cleat retention system.

G3 Guide™ transformations continue into outerwear with the G3 Guide™ Tactical Jacket. Like its predecessor, this jacket is constructed with 3-layer GORE-TEX® fabric and carries forward the tradition of providing ample on-body storage but in a much more sleek, streamlined and stylish design. To button up the G3 Guide™ collection, Simms has also rebuilt the G3 Guide™ Vest to offer more comfort, functionality and storage capacity than ever before.

"Our product team really hit a home run with this entire line, and their tireless efforts truly show through in every category," says Simms Executive Vice President, Lee Fromson. "Reimagining a collection as popular as G3 Guide™ alone would have been a huge accomplishment, but that was only the beginning. With the Spring 18 line, consumers will see the same attention to detail and angler driven innovation across the board."

Spring 18 also brings with it a new Dry Creek Z® pack collection that includes a backpack, sling pack and hip pack. Built with fully submersible one-way TIZIP® zippers and super rugged waterproof 500D Double Sided TPU-Coated textured Nylon, this new collection allows anglers waterproof protection and easy access to critical gear while offering superior comfort.

Boat-based anglers will also enjoy a new array of footwear developed to provide unrivaled support, comfort, and traction on slippery boat decks. Powered by Simms' Right Angle® Footbed (RAF), the new Challenger Pull-On Boot is available in a 9" and 14" model and will become a go-to choice for warm and cold, wet-weather fishing. Also equipped with Simms' RAF, the new Challenger Mid Boat Shoe – Waterproof boasts a high abrasion-resistant, waterproof upper that raises the bar in athletic, fishing specific footwear.

One of the more exciting aspects of the new Spring 18 line is the emphasis the product team put on the new women's collection. Now, women have more choices than they've ever had before no matter what type of fishing they're gearing up for. With a completely revamped fit profile, the women's sportswear line is larger than ever and includes many new offerings such as the Women's Guide Skort, a quick-drying, moisture wicking skort that incorporates Coolcore™ technology. In addition, the women's line now includes the Women's BiComp LS Shirt, the Drifter Dress and Madeira Coverup, all of which come equipped with built-in UPF protection.

Last, but not least, with Spring 18 comes a vast array of new and innovative sportswear for men designed to protect anglers from the sun. The men's collection has also greatly expanded, but the real standout is the award-winning SolarFlex® Armor LS Shirt. This shirt features a patent pending built-in neck-gaiter/hood design and is built with Coolcore™ technology, perfect for long cloudless days on the tarpon flats.
