Carey's Small Arms Range Ventilation Sponsors NSSF Lead Management-OSHA Workshop

NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®) is pleased to announce that Carey's Small Arms Range Ventilation has signed on to sponsor the early winter 2017 NSSF Lead Management and OSHA Compliance Workshop taking place Dec. 11-13 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Headquartered in Tinley Park, Illinois, Carey's designs, provides and services high-quality air distribution and control systems for indoor firearms ranges.

"We're fortunate to have the professionals from Carey's on-hand for our winter seminar," said Zach Snow, NSSF Director, Shooting Range Services. "Their knowledge of what it takes for an indoor shooting range to be OSHA and EPA-compliant will benefit everyone attending."

"Carey's is pleased to support NSSF's shooting range educational series in Salt Lake City this winter. We are committed to assisting shooting range owners with their objectives of operating safe and profitable facilities," said Bill Provencher, co-founder of Carey's. "We believe relevant educational workshops such as this further enhance that opportunity."

Designed to enable owners and operators of shooting ranges of all sizes an opportunity to discover the latest in lead management and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliance best practices, the two-day workshop will focus on environmental and regulatory requirements for indoor shooting facilities, OSHA enforcement and penalty structures, implementation of health and safety plans, medical surveillance and other issues relevant to compliance. Several industry experts will moderate and bring their insight to the informative sessions taking place during this workshop. Whether you are a start-up indoor range/retail business in the developmental stages or an established indoor range/retailer, this is a must-attend workshop as preparation for your facility experiencing an unexpected site visit from OSHA or the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).
