Duo Win's Oneida Lake Team Walleye Event with Banshee's

Ramsey, MN – Phantom Lures, widely known for its design and manufacture of tournament-winning muskie lures and innovative walleye and bass crankbaits, is excited to share that its popular Banshee crankbait aided in the win for the team of Jason Noble and Jason Stasonis in a recent Oneida Lake Team Walleye event.

Forty-six teams ventured out on Oneida Lake, with the goal of bringing their best five fish limit of walleye. The team of Jason Noble and Jason Stasonis didn't have much success during the pre-fish period, as a cold front moved through the area.

"The highlight of our day was when we got the fish fired up on the Phantom Lures Banshee crankbait in the black and chrome pattern," said Jason. "We caught five fish in a row to close out the day!"

As luck would have it, the anglers only had one of these baits and the walleye, because of the conditions wanted the rattling Banshee style, compared to the silent Voodoo model. In the end, the team worked a three-quarter of a mile stretch and after boating 30 plus eyes, we put together a 13.39 pound limit.

"It would have been interesting had we had more of those Banshee's in the water, I think we could've put together a real nice limit," commented Gary. "Normally the Phantom Lures Voodoo is our go to crankbait, but this just shows that as anglers, we need to be able to adapt and make sure the tackle box is filled when you hit the water!"
