Veteran Marketing Executive with Experience at Duck Commander and ATK (Vista Outdoor) Joins to Lead Global Marketing Strategy and PepperBall® Consumer Division
LAKE FOREST, Ill. –– United Tactical Systems "UTS", the exclusive manufacturer and supplier of PepperBall®-branded products worldwide, today announced it has appointed Kyle Tengwall as Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager of the Consumer Division of PepperBall®. Tengwall brings an extensive track record of proven leadership, growth and innovation. He was most recently General Manager of Duck Commander Inc., where he led the well-known brand's extension from the hunting industry into new mainstream markets during a period of explosive growth tied to the hit A&E TV show, Duck Dynasty.

Tengwall also spent 14 years at ATK (now Vista Outdoor) in its Security and Sporting Group, with responsibility for more than two dozen brands across products and key customers in the commercial, law enforcement and military markets. Tengwall's last role at ATK was Group Vice President of Marketing and Strategy where he led the company through unprecedented growth to nearly $2 billion in annual sales through organic expansion, acquisition and revolutionary new product introductions.
Tengwall has both a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. He also attended Oxford Said Business School where he completed the Advanced Management and Leadership, Business Administration and Management program.
