(Grand Island, NE) Team Hornady shooter, Jessie Duff, delivered an impressive win with her 10th Ladies Open World Speed Shooting title. The 2017 World Speed Shooting Championship was held
May 4-6, 2017 at the Hogue Range in San Luis Obispo, California. Duff continues her strong competitive record using Hornady® 9mm 115 gr. HAP® bullets.
"I've shot HAP® bullets for years and have come to rely on its dependable and consistent performance," says Duff. "It continues to help my winning record."
Another Team Hornady shooter, Ashley Rheuark, served up a couple Ws by taking the Lady Production and the Lady Limited divisions. She was shooting Hornady® 9mm 115 gr. XTP® bullets.
On the PRS front, Tate Streater had a strong 2nd place finish in the Open division at the 2017 South Dakota Steel Classic held near Orient, South Dakota on May 6-7.
"I was running my Stuteville Precision built 6mm Creedmoor using Hornady brass and the 108 gr ELD Match at 3045fps. I have shot approximately 1200 rounds of the 108s and have been very impressed. Even though I personally prefer running a 6mm Creedmoor at major matches for recoil management purposes, the most impressive Hornady product I have used is the 6.5mm Creedmoor Match ammo with the 140 gr ELD Match bullet. That ammo has given me the ability to reload less and practice more— all while delivering the same accuracy as custom handloads."
Team Hornady shooters represent a variety of disciplines including high power rifle, action pistol, 3-Gun and benchrest. Many Team Hornady shooters have earned distinguished honors the world over, proving that consistent and accurate Hornady ammunition and bullets are key factors in a winning career.
