Battenfeld Technologies Seeks Sales Specialist
The Sales Specialist is the liaison between Battenfeld Technologies, Inc. (BTI), BTI Rep Groups, and its customers. This position involves show responsibilities, territory and key account assistance, and direct account responsibility. Sales Specialists are responsible for sales activities that include all tasks necessary to sell product, following up with the customers and providing general information to customers and BTI Rep Groups.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in attaining sales goals.
Assist in managing a sales territory and/or key accounts.
Complete account responsibility for select accounts within territory.
Responsible for distributor and buying group show management.
Responsible for providing all necessary reports to BTI's sales representatives.
Reply to incoming customer e-mails within their territory.
Conduct outbound sales calls to accounts and prospects within their territory.
Serve as primary point of contact for all sales reps in the assigned territory.
Must be able to travel out of state to attend trade shows. Work will include selling product at shows, show sample preparation, as well as booth set-up and tear down.
Maintain customer catalogs and pricing information as requested.
Assist in yearly update of program and price changes in operating system.
Work safely as well as identify and report any safety hazards immediately.
Maintain good housekeeping in personal area and all common areas.
Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma required
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: One or more years in sales or customer service related position.
Strong computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Office.
Product knowledge and experience with hunting, shooting, and gunsmithing preferred

Physical Demands:
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Some work is required in "off-hours" for business meetings/company events.
Travel approximately 10% of the time to assist with shows and calls on accounts as necessary.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
Ability to move about facility on regular basis to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
Visual and hearing acuity.

Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment:
General office environment, with some exposure to plant environment, with fork lift and other general hazards.
Exposure to the outdoors, unstable ground, and some climbing.
