Becky Jones Mahlum Joins the OWAA BOD

Becky Jones Mahlum replaced Tom Keer on the OWAA board of directors after Keer resigned in late February to devote time to expanding his own company. She will serve the remainder of his term, which is set to expire in 2018.

Jones Mahlum is the regional communications manager for Ducks Unlimited's Great Plains Region, headquartered in Bismarck, North Dakota. Jones Mahlum is a self-described "farm girl" from Webster, North Dakota, who spent most of her career as a journalist. She worked as a reporter and news director, as well as a producer and executive producer for Prairie Public Television. She served as the public information officer for Bismarck before joining Ducks Unlimited in 2005. Jones Mahlum has been a member of OWAA for 10 years, during which she has attended two conferences and served as an Excellence in Craft contest judge. She and her husband, Mike, have three children.

"Becky brings a passion for the outdoors and an impressive professional background to our board," said Brett Prettyman, president of OWAA. "She will be a great addition to an already strong OWAA board."
