QUWF Promotes Youth Hunting with its Members and Chapters

Buffalo, Missouri: The Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation solidly promotes Youth Hunting experiences for our youth with mentor advisors across the United States. "We think the ability to get our youth outdoors and into the field, for the entire hunting experience, safety and responsibility are three of the golden keys of the future of all shooting sports", states Craig Alderman, of QUWF. "Experiencing the joy of the outdoors in their local areas with a mentor guide, improves overall conservation knowledge of the natural environment we work so hard to protect and manage. Seeing birds, small game, and large game in the natural setting God created, even the trip to and from the stands, is a new adventure for many youth today. We have to encourage and truly work hard to promote this exposure at every opportunity" Emphasizes Alderman.

At the QUWF headquarters, thanks to the partnership with Bass Pro Shops, and Ruger firearms, four fully enclosed blinds are installed for the youth season with two more planned. The QUWF shooting range allows a little practice and features ATLAS traps for those wanting a little shotgun coaching. Additionally, QUWF chapters have raised their own dollars to obtain and fully equip youth hunting / shooting event trailers from North Carolina to California and Oregon. Now with the Doolittle Trailer partnership, a QUWF trailer is being designed just for this purpose. Youth Dove hunts and Pheasant hunts have occurred or are about to happen in 5 states with QUWF chapters. Deer and large game youth hunts are unfolding currently.

Further, QUWF liability insurance through its local chapters, can sanction youth hunting events on private and public lands of its active members, providing a valuable coverage asset and security for sponsor landowners, mentors and volunteers. Joining and supporting QUWF, strengthens all of these events in your local community, keeping the majority of funds raised in local control at all times. Fighting for WildlifeTM has never been more important. Join QUWF today at www.QUWF.net.

As of January 2016, QUWF and its local chapters and members have impacted 3.2 million acres of wildlife habitat and it's chapters spent over $152 Million Dollars in their local communities. That is "Turnin-the-DirtTM".

Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation, Inc.TM is the only Veteran Founded tax exempt 501(c)(3) conservation organization, serving its members and chapters nationwide. QUWF provides a strong local source of habitat focus on quail and all upland wildlife with population recovery. Millions of dollars of habitat work have been completed by its members over the years on millions of acres of both private and public lands. That work continues with a renewed vitality. Our chapters from coast to coast, provide the grass roots, local habitat work that is making a difference each and every day.
