Farmington, PA – Elite Pro Shooter Chance Beaubouef crafted an Elite win at the first annual Organization of Professional Archery (OPA) Summit Invitational. The invite only tournament was a "who's who" of professional archery A-listers, including more than 200 invitations in the Men's Expert class alone.

Beaubouef had a strong performance on day one of the tournament, scoring a 226 on the day. Leading the pack as the OPA entered day two, Beaubouef shot 9 points up on the day with a 209. Entering the shootdown, Beaubouef was in second place with a 335, only 2 points behind the leader. In an exciting conclusion to the Summit, there were several lead changes throughout the shootdown including fellow Elite pro staffer Garrett Ayersman who found himself in the lead at one point during the exciting finale. On the final arrow of the shootdown, Beaubouef called and hit a 14 on a long difficult target to force a tie with the leader.

On the additional sudden death arrow, the competitors took aim at a black bear target set at 48 yards. Beaubouef's final arrow proved to seal his victory as he scored a 10 while his competitor scored an 8.

"This has been an amazing weekend, winning the first OPA with my Elite Victory 37," Beaubouef said. "Knowing that I have the best equipment available gives me the confidence I need when competing against the best archers in the world."

Fellow Elite pro staffer Garrett Ayersman also claimed his position on the podium, with a strong 3rd place finish against the best archer's in the world, giving Elite two out of the top three positions.

Elite Archery president, Eric Griggs, was there for the win and to help support Chance and all of the Elite shooters present, "Chance's performance at the OPA was simply outstanding," Griggs said, "He made good, smart decisions, pushed the envelope when the extra points were critical – and it paid off big for him in the end.
