Monroe Lake's third annual Faerie Gathering will be held at Paynetown State Recreation Area on Saturday, June 18.
Most crafts and activities are targeted for children ages 6 to 12; however, the program is open to all ages. Several activities may appeal to older teens and adults.
Participants can paint a garden gnome, create watercolor faerie art, design a faerie mask, craft a wooden faerie tic-tac-toe game set and go on a faerie habitat hike. There also will be two faerie accessory workshops where you can craft a tiny dining table or a pantry shelf for outfitting a faerie garden.
Most programs are free after paying property admission; however, there is an additional fee for the two faerie accessory workshops and the tic-tac-toe set. Some programs have limited supplies.
Times and full descriptions for all Faerie Gathering activities are at bit.ly/faeriegathering2016.
