MI DNR panel set to answer viewer questions on "Ask the DNR"

Michigan Department of Natural Resources staff will highlight spring and summer outdoor activities Thursday as they answer questions on the live "Ask the DNR" television program.

The call-in program is televised on Public Television from WNMU-TV13 in Marquette. The hour-long broadcast will air live at 8 p.m. EDT Thursday, May 26 on channels 13.2 and 13.2 and will be repeated on 13.1 at noon May 27.

"Ask the DNR" is broadcast across the U.P. and reaches into northeastern Wisconsin.

Thursday's program is scheduled to include discussion on spring and summer outdoor activities, though the discussion is typically wide-ranging, based on viewer questions.

Those scheduled to appear on the panel include DNR fisheries biologist Jennifer Johnson, Upper Peninsula trails coordinator Ron Yesney, wildlife biologist Dusty Arsnoe and conservation officer Doug Hermanson.

The program host will be Ann Feldhauser.
