Cabela's Seeks Candidates for Video Production Supervisor

Do you want to be a member of the Cabela's team? This is your chance. Cabela's has an opening for a Video Production Supervisor in the Marketing and Brand Management Department at our corporate office in Sidney, NE.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manage all internal video production, including a team of supervisors. The primary purpose of this position is to plan, coordinate, supervise and execute the internal video production strategy within our Marketing and Brand Management Department. This includes budgeting, hiring, supervising and accountability for all internal executive-team video strategies, internet product videos, retail videos, Digital Signage, advertising and special projects. This person will need excellent communication skills and ability to work with other departments within the organization to complete top priority projects. This person will also need to be able to plan video strategy and be able to communicate that throughout the company.

KEY DUTIES:
• Directing Subordinates - Manage workflow and scheduling for the internal video department. Assign and review work. Act as project leader for the team. Handle personnel matter. Final decision on approval of external projects.
• Coordinate and Plan Video Strategy within organization - Work with groups within the company to develop video strategy for their specific needs. Be able to communicate with all levels of the organization video strategy and give and receive feedback.
• Primary Lead Editor - Edit or act as creative lead on all top priority jobs and responsible for approval of internal edit productions.
• Primary Lead Videographer - Video or act as creative lead on all top priority internal shoots, act as field manager when on location and responsible for approval of all internal shoots.
• Budget and Budget Management - Utilize, maintain and oversee internal production department budget.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 to 6+ Years
• Ability to communicate video project strategy to the team as well as other departments within the company. Able to work well with outside groups to complete projects. Extensive knowledge of video equipment, editing platforms and software. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently with little supervision. Skill in operating a personal computer, various software packages and office equipment. Skill in operating broadcast video cameras, audio and lighting equipment. Ability to write clearly, concisely and accurately.
