Open House for Educators Focusing on Ohio's Wildlife and Resources

AKRON, OH - Are you an educator who teaches or wants to teach others about Ohio's wildlife and outdoor-related educational opportunities? If so, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) invites you to an open house in Akron on December 16th.

Visit the ODNR Division of Wildlife northeast Ohio Headquarters in Akron (Portage Lakes) to learn about all the great things available to educators to teach about Ohio's outdoors! Materials, training workshops, and informational programs are offered free thanks to the sales of hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses and donations to ODNR Division of Wildlife. All educators are welcome (home-school, classroom, youth group, religious affiliations, and more). Light refreshments will be served.

The event takes place Wednesday, December 16th, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The location is 912 Portage Lakes Drive, Akron, OH. This office serves 19 northeast Ohio counties.

For questions, contact Jamey Emmert or Ken Fry at (330) 245-3020 or (330) 245-3030 respectively. There is no need to pre-register.
