Author Bob Rich to Sign New Novel at Greenbrier Resort Friday (Nov. 27)

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. – With the debut of his new novel Looking Through Water, Bob Rich will be a special guest of the Greenbrier Resort as he signs his book Friday, Nov. 27.

The signings will take place from noon – 2 p.m. in the Greenbrier Lobby, 300 W. Main Street, White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.. The public is invited.

Famous for his story-telling, in Looking Through Water, Rich takes on the role of a raconteur, taking aim to portray the incredible transformations that can take place on the water while waiting for a fish.

"I've always wanted to do a novel and I'm pretty excited about it," said Bob. "It's a fun read of adventure, life lessons and compassion.

"It's an adventure and love story; filled with conflict, emotion and healing," said Rich. "It has guns, shooting, dying set against backdrops I've always loved; an Adirondacks' lake, Manhattan, and the Florida Keys, with fishing too."

"I had great fun inventing colorful characters and plot twists and have enjoyed reader's reactions," the affable Rich said with a smile.

"The book would make a great gift for the holidays."

Proceeds to Project Healing Waters

Always the philanthropist, Bob Rich said Friday's proceeds from the new novel will benefit the Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF), dedicated to helping injured veterans and active duty military heal from physical and emotional wounds through fly fishing.

In concurrence with the book signing, Project Healing Waters will be hosting a private event Saturday, at the The Greenbrier Sporting Club allowing the injured soldiers and veterans to land rainbow and brown trout for an enjoyable, memorable lifetime experience.

Along with helping many non-profit charities Bob has raised millions of dollars for the Redbone over the past two decades at such as his BassEye Celebrity Challenge fishing tournaments in Buffalo, N.Y. and Golden Isles Red*Trout tournament in St. Simons Island, Ga., to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

His four other books include three on fishing: The Right Angle; The Fishing Club: Brothers and Sisters of the Angle; Fish Fights: A Hall of Fame Quest; plus a motivational book (co-authored with Scott Friedman) Secrets From the Delphi Café: Unlocking the Code to Happiness.
