Following the recent announcement regarding the expansion plans in the greater Knoxville, Tennessee area of a brand new 300,000-square-foot global headquarters for Advanced Munitions International LLC, AMI Properties Development LLC has named Lee Ploszaj as President and CEO.

"With over 35 years in the development and construction industry, Ploszaj is no stranger when it comes to handling major builds having overseen projects in the hospitality, entertainment, housing, corrections and retail markets," said Jim Antich, founder and executive chairman of Advanced Munitions International.

As president and CEO of AMI Properties Development LLC Ploszaj will be responsible for the design, development, and completion of the new global headquarters campus of Advanced Munitions International, which will be located on a 235-acre site in Alcoa, Tennessee. This new facility will house some of the most sophisticated, state-of-the-art equipment in the world with every attention to detail being maintained throughout the build process.

Ground breaking for this new campus is scheduled for March 2016.

"I have been working with Jim Antich and his team for over two years on this project. We have toured the country working hard to locate the perfect site to house the most modern and sophisticated ammunition facility in the world. It was not easy to find a location with all the attributes we were looking for but thanks to the hard working team from Governor Bill Haslam's office we were able to find the ideal location. After spending time with the community leaders at the state, county and local level, we quickly learned why Tennessee is the leader in business growth and new job creation, and at the forefront of attracting new development projects such as ours," explained Ploszaj.

Mr. Ploszaj holds an MBA in Business/Public Administration from the University of Northern Colorado and a BS in construction Engineering from Bradley University. Mr. Ploszaj is a Distinguished Military Graduate (DMG) having served as an active duty U.S. Air Force Officer and spent 20 years in the Air Force Reserves.
