Lottery Scheduled for Youth and Mobility-Impaired Hunters at Maumee Bay State Park

COLUMBUS, OH - Lottery drawings will be held for youth and mobility-impaired hunters wishing to participate in deer hunts at Maumee Bay State Park. Twenty lottery applications will be selected for each hunt.

Mobility-Impaired Hunt on Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8:
Drawing: Thursday, Oct. 22.
Applications: must be postmarked by Oct. 19. Selected hunters will be contacted.

Youth hunt on Saturday, Nov. 14, and Sunday, Nov. 15:
Drawing: Thursday, Oct. 29.
Applications: must be postmarked by Oct. 26. Selected hunters will be contacted. Youth hunters must be under the age of 18 on the day of the hunt.
To be eligible to enter the lottery, applicants must possess a current Ohio hunting license and deer tag. Applicants under 18 must have a parent or a legal guardian present to sign the permit contract, and they must provide the required license and tag. All Ohio hunting laws/regulations will apply for these hunts.

Only one entry per hunter will be accepted, and permits are non-transferable. The drawing will be facilitated by the Maumee Valley Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Interested applicants may obtain an application at maumeevalleynwtf.com. Completed applications should be addressed to Gary Robison and mailed to 10277 Scarlet Oak Drive, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.

Maumee Bay State Park is located along Cedar Point Road, between North Curtice and Norden roads, approximately 3.5 miles north of State Route 2.
