Fenwick® Fenglass® Fly Rod

Lightweight fiberglass rods feature unidirectional S2 glass construction

Columbia, SC – Known as the brand that introduced the world to graphite rods, Fenwick®
is also the premier builder of fiberglass rods, a reputation epitomized with the return of
the Fenglass® fly rod. These lightweight fiberglass rods featuring unidirectional S2 glass construction and retain the retro look of the original rods. Fenglass rods are designed for casting accuracy and sensitivity for subtle fly presentations.

Extremely durable, the S2 glass construction on Fenglass rods is 25 percent stronger than standard glass rods. Unidirectional glass construction creates a lighter more responsive blank and is the material of choice when strength and minimal weight are required.

Fenglass rods feature the patented FeraliteTM ferrule styling introduced to Fenwick glass fly rods over 50 years ago, still the standard for high-quality construction today. The innovative tip-over- butt ferrule design enhances the medium-action Fenglass with a graphite rod feel and crisper, faster actions. Trout anglers in California, across the Rockies and in the Appalachians will appreciate the ease of use of these freshwater rods.

A full cork handle, including a secure cork reel seat, is featured on each of the six new three- piece Fenglass models, which range in length from 6 foot 6 inches to 8 foot, 3 inches. The 3- and 4-weight rods have a half-well grip; the 5- and 6-weight rods have a full-well grip and the 7- and 8-weight rods have a full-well, extended handle design.

MSRP for the Fenwick Fenglass Fly Rod, packed in a custom Fenwick cloth covered rod tube and bag, ranges from $199.99 to $249.99.
