D.T. Systems Introduces R.A.P.T. 1450 UPLAND Beeper Remote Dog Training Collar

Dallas, TX. -D.T. Systems has added to their revolutionary R.A.P.T. remote dog training collar line with the introduction of the new R.A.P.T. 1450beeper collar. R.A.P.T. stands for Rapid Access Pro Trainer, and this unit features a hands-free transmitter design that allows average dog owners to position the transmitter on their hands in a variety of positions so corrections can be made instantly, without having to locate the transmitter.

The R.A.P.T. 1450 is the perfect collar for upland hunters. The beeper can be heard from up to 450 yards away to locate a dog or hear if the dog is on point. The R.A.P.T. 1450 features a unique beeping system where each dog programmed has a different beeping sequence so the user can know what each dog is doing in the field. Programmable up to 3 different dogs, the R.A.P.T. 1450 will handle any Upland hunting or training situation.

To help make the unit easier to use, when the locate button is pressed the run-point or point only selection will not cancel out. This helps users locate their dogs without having to re-select the run point or point only feature of the beeper. To help train pointing dogs to a beeper collar, the R.A.P.T. 1450 will come with an adjustable volume cap to turn the volume down for close quarters hunting or training needs.

The R.A.P.T. 1450 features a Rapid Access™ button for "Hands Free" training. The Rapid Access button is easily accessible with one finger and located directly on top of the unit. The button can be programmed to Locate, Nick, Continuous or Vibration Assist correction functions-for one touch operation without the need to use the entire hand.

The unique hands-free design and RAPT Strap™ keeps the transmitter securely on the hand thus freeing up the hands for other activities such as throwing retriever dummies, using a whistle, firing a shotgun, and a wide variety of other training tasks.

The unit has a 1,400 yard (3/4 Mile) range and includes DT exclusive technologies-Maxx Range 360, Vibration Assist and Gentle Touch Stimulation. Maxx Range 360 incorporates FM signal transmission and a wrap around collar antenna for positive 360 degree signal reception no matter the terrain. The Gentle Touch stimulation feature allows for 16 levels of stimulation that can be adjusted with the easy to turn dial. The Vibration assist button gives handlers a no-shock alternative stimulus.

The collar and transmitter are completely waterproof and the transmitter floats. The collar features a much smaller and lighter (4 oz) receiver box for long days in the field and comfortable wear for your dog. For easier use in the field, the RAPT 1450 features the new Upland Style compact antenna. This shorter antenna makes the transmitter more compact for added user versatility.
